Prologue
Harry's Dream
James and Lily Potter were sitting in their living room talking about the war (depressing subject, don't you think?) while their son Harry was upstair in his crib.
"How was Frank at the last Order meeting James?" Lily asked.
"Frank seemed fine when I talked to him, and he said Alice was doing ok, which is as well as expected seeing our sitiuation. Said Neville was a really active and doesn't have an ounce of shyness in him. You know, he and Harry haven't played together for about a month. Do you think we could set a little play date, Lils?"
Lily didn't have an chance to answer because Harry chose that moment to wake up and start crying. Lily went upstairs and came down two minutes later with Harry in her arms.
James frowned as Lily handed Harry to him. "What's wrong with my little Marauder?" James turned to Lily and commented, "This is funny, Harry never crys. I have a bad..."
James Potter never got to finish his sentence as the door to their cottage got blown of its hinges. They stared as a man in a black cloak stepped over the door and drew a wand. James shook himself out of his stupor and shouted," RUN! LILY, IT'S HIM! TAKE..."
And then in a flash of white light, time stopped and the three Potters disappeared.
Miles away at a small cottage located in a small wood, and brown haired, amber eyed man disappeared in a dazzling cloud of a bright, white light.
At a apartment in London a long black haired, grey eyed man disappeared in a flash of white light.
Sixteen years in the future a black haired youth awoke with a start.

I hope you like the prologue. If you think it's short, the prologue is meant to get the characters where I want them. The next chapters will be longer. And with that note, please review.
Till next time,
