Title:
Transparent & Human
Series: Fruits Basket
Focused
Characters: Souma Yuki and Kuragi Machi
Summary: When
she finally has the courage to expose herself, she'll be
transparent... therefore human. Then, my rejected arms will have a
chance to hold her.
Disclaimer: Natsuki Takaya is awesome
because she has Fruits Basket. PIERROT is awesome because they have
their song of "'Toumei' yue 'Ningen' nari".
Note: My
fanfic doesn't make sense. One reason is because Yuki and Machi seem
so OOC. Maybe it'll make sense to someone else. Also, the 12shi's
transformations seem to be connected with mid-torso contact, rather
than just hugging them loosely. So, my fic should be okay. I hope my
English is improving compared to my other fanfics.
For a while, she seemed less human.
The way her troubled face would hide smiles. The way how even though she could see through certain things...
She would believe that appearances were almost everything in this type of world. It's of no worry of mine, whether she could or couldn't see me.
My worry was she wouldn't become transparent. I had become transparent from my unclear self overtime. I was helped with the warmth of someone else's clear light. I can't help her in the same way.
Because all I want right now is for my rejected arms to hold her.
"Machi, is the spot next to you taken?"
Kuragi Machi looked up from her textbook to find Souma Yuki standing at the top of the school stairs where she was sitting. She shook her head no, then returned her glance back to her book.
While looking at one of the math problems situated in her book, she asked him, "Is there anything you need, Kaichou?"
"Not really. It's a nice day out, so why not enjoy it with someone who's just as nice?"
I always see her in the way she intrigues me. A mess who can hold itself up, but will fall at times before me.
She looked up and stared incredulously at him. "Please don't flatter me. It's not... necessary."
"All I'm saying is the truth. Anyway, you looked like you were in need of help, so here I am." He grinned at her, put her arm around her shoulders, and pulled her closer to him while gently taking the textbook into his grasp.
And in turn with the red tinge on her cheeks, she looked downcast and muttered a "Thank you..." with a hint of a smile.
I won't whisper everything I think of, even if I could. But when she has the courage to finally expose herself, leaving that body for me to hold, she'll be transparent... therefore human.
