Rosie is Red Aftermath

Thomas and Rosie both had quite an eventful Valentines day. Diesel had biffed Rosie at the Docks and when Thomas stood up for her, he, Bill and Ben teased him about her. Then Thomas started acting rude towards her so that wouldn't feel embarrassed, thus causing a misunderstanding between them. But after they both done a special job for Sir Topham Hatt and Lady Hatt, they were able to clear up their misunderstanding and become friends again. But even though the problem was sorted out Thomas was still feeling terrible for the way he was towards Rosie and really wanted to explain to her why he acted that way towards her. That evening when they had finished their job, he decided to visit Rosie at Vicarstown Shed. Rosie was settling down in her shed after quite a day, Henry had gone to take the Flying Kipper as he always did. Then she was very surprised to see Thomas puffing into the sheds.

Rosie: Thomas? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you back at Tidmouth Shed?

Thomas: Yes, but I just came to visit you if that's okay.

Rosie: Oh no, that's fine, come in.

Thomas: Thanks Rosie (Puffs into the birth next to her)

Rosie: Well today certainly was quite a day for us both wasn't it?

Thomas: Yes... it... was (Frowns a little bit)

Rosie: Thanks again for sticking up for me earlier, that was so nice of you.

Thomas: It was nothing Rosie, just looking out for a friend (Frowns a bit more)

Rosie: (Notices Thomas sad face) Thomas? Is something wrong?

Thomas: (Sighs) Yes, Rosie I'm so sorry I was rude to you today, it's just that everyone was teasing me saying that you were my "Special Friend" and I was just so embarrassed I didn't know what else to do.

Rosie: (Sympathetic) Oh Thomas, It doesn't matter anymore.

Thomas: Yes it does Rosie, your my friend and I made you feel unhappy, I really don't know why I acted like that.

Rosie: Well….You did hurt my feelings at the washdown, and I was a bit angry with you, but now that you've told me why you acted that way, I fully understand and I forgive you.

Thomas: (Frown disappears) Really?

Rosie: Of course I do Thomas, Your my friend too (Smiles at him)

Thomas: Thank you Rosie, I promise to never act that way towards you ever again.

Rosie: That's good, also would you like some advice?

Thomas: What?

Rosie: If any of the engines ever decide to tease you about me again, just ignore them, they're just looking for attention.

Thomas: (Giggles) I'll keep that in mind Rosie, thanks

Rosie: (Giggles) Anytime Thomas.

Thomas: (Yawns) Well I'd better be getting back to Tidmouth Sheds, the Steam Team will be wondering where I am.

Rosie: Wait Thomas, why don't you stay here for the night? I don't mind and I'm sure Henry won't mind either. Besides they will give us time to catch up since our last meeting.

Thomas: I'd be delighted Rosie, thanks.

So Thomas stayed in Vicarstown with Rosie for the night and the two friends caught up with each other about their adventures such as Rosie and James racing and him crashing into the sheds, Thomas' Big World Adventure, and about the two new engines Nia and Rebecca. They laughed and talked for quite some time until it was time for them both to go to Sleep.

Rosie: Goodnight Thomas and Happy Valentines Day

Thomas: Goodnight Rosie and Happy Valentines Day to you too.

A short time later, Henry came back and was very surprised to see Thomas sleeping in his new home.

Henry: (Looks Towards the Viewers) What did I miss?
