~ Chapter 1 ~
Lily's Surprise
Mia awakes and remembers she is at Lily's, with a shock she remembers what happened yesterday. Michael had gotten some pot from his "new" band members. She had a bad hang-over and Lily was still asleep. Mia looks around the Moscovitiz's living room and sees Michael coming out of his bedroom, their eyes meet and he grins. He carefully steps over Shameeka (Lily and Mia's friend) as he approaches her. They embrace with a long kiss (tongue and all) and Lily wakes up in the middle.
"Oh My GOD do you have to do that so loud and early!" she yells. Shameeka and Tina also look up. "Aww", Tina says "Dave never kissed me like that", now the tears start coming. Shameeka puts her arm around her, "Dave was an idiot he didn't know what he had and besides you have that date with that guy from Michael's band!" she adds "I know, I know, but Dave was special!" Tina returns
Through all of this Mia and Michael have gotten Tylenol and retreated back to Michael's room and Lily has tried to fall back asleep. The phone rings suddenly and since both of Lily's parents aren't home Lily yells at Michael
"Michael pick up the phone" "No I'm a little busy with Mia right now" Giggling in the background Mia says "Yeah, we are a little busy, if you know what I mean and we never interrupt you and Boris.." "Fine" Lily says and she goes to answer the phone.
"Hello" she says "Hello, is this Lily Moscovitiz?" the man on the line asks. "Yes, yes this is, why?" "Well I am from NBC and we are wondering if you would be interested in taking ' Lily Tells It Like It Is ' national. We are very interested in you." Lily pauses for a moment before yelling "YES!!!, I mean of course" "Okay well I have meetings all day tomorrow but lets meet Wednesday lets say at my office at 534, Fifth Street, Is that okay for you?" "That sounds good see you then" and she hangs up the phone. "Oh My Gosh!" says Tina "What are you going to wear?" "I have no idea" Lily responds. "Okay well we'll find something.
After a few hours (and listening moaning sounds from Michael's bedroom), the girls find the perfect outfit for her, black pants from guess? and a cream top from Bebe.
