Another Firework
Summary: Three different Team Sevens watch the fireworks. AU snapshots. Drabbles, one-shot, New Years fic.
A/N: Late, I know. Happy New Year everyone. May this year bring you inspiration to your writing and happiness and luck to other parts of your life.
I've tried three different AU scenarios in three different styles, each in only 100 words exactly. Consider this an experiment.

"Oi, Sasuke, coming to see the fireworks?"
"Hn."
"Is that a yes or a no?"
"A no."
"Come on, it's the first new year since you came back."
"I don't -
"Hey, Naruto, let go!"
"Everyone's waiting for you. I'm not giving you a choice."
"Let go!"
"No."
"Let go."
"No. Hey Sakura, Kakashi!"
"You convinced him to come?"
"He didn't convince me; he dragged me along."
"Of course I convinced you!"
"Settle down boys, the fireworks are about to start."
"Wow."
"Hn."
"It's beautiful."
"Sasuke, reckon you'll stay long enough that we could watch this together again next year?"

I stood by my team of chuunin: the genius Uchiha, the top kunoichi and the Kyuubi container.
There were five of us here tonight, the Uchiha prodigy and heir receiving us in the Uchiha compound.
"There will be fireworks soon, if you would come with me, I will show you the best place to watch."
"Lead the way, nii-san!"
Standing on a small hill in the compound, the bright lights in the night sky, mingling with the stars, watching the fireworks with my minions (sorry, chuunin), I felt the new year, a new beginning, ring in.
"Happy New Year, kids."

The young blonde drags his two teammates to the top of the Hokage tower.
There the three kids see Team Minato already there: the Yondaime Hokage, their sensei and his two best friends.
The seven of them wait.

And from their vantage point they see the multicoloured fireworks light up the sky in a display not often seen in Konoha.
The two teams draw closer together, relishing in the moment that the two years met.
It's not just the females that gasp in awe at the sight.
Whispered words spell out their resolutions for the new year.
A/N: In case you didn't work it out:
one: Sasuke came back.
two: The Uchiha Massacre didn't happen.
three: Team Yellow Flash (Kakashi's 'genin' team) survived and Minato lives.
