Author's Note: I was bored in English. There was a peer review group. Somehow, I find fanfic much more titillating than pronoun agreement. And, hey, fanfic is still English…

This is just a really short drabble. I like it because it could honestly be a scene in any type of fic. Draco proposing, Draco refusing to ask for directions, the couple stranded somewhere, Draco hiding something, Draco distracting Ginny, alternate dimension, cross-over… Really, anything.
Anything, anywhere, but as always, Draco & Ginny

Inspired by lyrics from the Relient K song I was listening to on my way to class – "Who I am Hates Who I've Been"

I watched the proverbial sunrise
coming up over the Pacific and
you might think I'm losing my mind,
but I will shy away from the specifics...

On a beach. The couple basked in the warmth of their embrace even as they were covered by the cool ocean spray. They were content to sit together for the time being, watching as the sky lightened rapidly. Tendrils of color tinged the horizon, and waves crashed on nearby rocks. It was a beautiful moment, nearing perfection.

"Draco, darling."

Darling? Draco glanced down at the redhead in his arms somewhat warily before responding, "Yes?"

"The sunrise is beautiful."

"hmmm…" he responded placidly, rather relieved.

"So is California."

"Yeah." He pulled her closer.

"I love the west coast."

"Me too," he said, smiling vaguely, reveling in the moment.

Until…

Ginny wrenched out of his arms, screaming,
"The sun rises in the east you bloody bastard! Where the hell are we!"
