Journal entry 1, May 23, 856
Five years after the war against the titans, humanity was forced to move to a new continent. The titans were wiping out the population 5% more everyday.
Was there anyway to survive the titans? Or where they just going to wipe us out? Mikasa, Armin and I stepped out of the horse carriage and headed towards
the hoard of people at the gate.
"Eren, i'm not sure about this place either. What if the titans get us here? What if.."
"Armin..." Mikasa looked at Armin. "We will be fine. Remember, were part of the survey corps AND we have a titan on our side." Mikasa pointed at me.
"Hey! I'm not the only one! What about Annie? She can turn into a titan too!" Mikasa looked at me. "But Annie had to be executed...REMEMBER?" I stood
there silently with my best poker face. We moved through the crowed along with the rest of the corps. Evryone was huddled together and it was honestly
really hard to fit through the crowd.
The moment we got through, the first thing I noticed about the city was it's food. I could smell chicken, porkchops, freshly baked bread, and my
favorite...Turky Sandwiches! I look Armin and it looked like I wasnt the only one who smelled the food. Armin looked like he would kill for some
bread. I look at Mikasa but she was gone. I look over too my right and there she is...buying a crap-ton of bread. She handed Armin and me a peice and we
ate like we were never fed before. But whe I was finished, I was still hungry. We had no more money left, so we had to ask for some. No one would lend us
some food. Then, I found Captain Levi with so much money, he looked like he didn't no what to do with it. I walk over towards him and say holding out my
hands, "Captain Levi, can you lend Mikasa, Armin and I some money for food?" And being the ass-hole he is, he said "No. I earned this money and I am gonna
use it all for my self." Levi walked away with his money and I walked back to the gang. Oh well...
I was bored. Theres nothing to do in this new town. Then I thought of a awesome plan. "Guys! Let's go out side city limits!" Armin and Mikasa looked at
me like I was crazy. "Eren, no. It's too dangerous and even if we did, what do you think they would do to us if they caught us?" Mikasa said in a stern
voice. I didn't listen to them and I got up and got my 3d manuver gear ready. "I'm going." I said. Mikasa yelled, "Eren! Wait up! I'm coming with!"
Armin of course followed.
When we went out side of the limits, it was beutiful. The grass was green, birds singing, and trees were everywhere. I launched my grapple hok at a tree
branch and started flying. Mikasa and Armin followed. While we were swinging, the birds went silent. We heard a giant noise. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
They sounded like footsteps. I looked behind me and there it was. A titan. A 18 meter class to be exact. And we didn't have our swords.
