The Medic looked around him, quite unsure of what to make of his surroundings. Where was he? His head was throbbing and his body... No-it didn't hurt-but he also couldn't move it. "Hello...?" He called out into the darkness. Nothing was visible past the bed he was in. "Vhere am I?" Silence. Frustrated, he closed his eyes. The events of the night before weren't totally clear. He had gone out with Demoman and Engineer to have a few drinks, then...? Nothing. Not a single damn thought. "Dummkopf, think." His mind screamed at him to stop. It was too much right now. He had to save energy to move his body. With his eyes still closed, he focused on moving his fingers. Yes, it was working! Now his toes, and... A giggle rang out from the darkness beyond him. His eyes snapped open and searched frantically for anyone around him. The noise echoed through the room so it was still unclear where it had come from. "Show yourself." He wasn't afraid.
"Why so anxious, Doc?" A small voice echoed through the room. "I deserve some explanation!" He exclaimed, accidentally spitting as he spoke. This was infuriating. Surely this was Scout's idea of a prank, and when he gained control of his body he would tear him a new one... He forced himself to calm down. Footsteps approached him and a small hand reached out to wipe the spit off his face. A face. He had to find a face, but there was none. Just the blackness of the room. "I can't do that." The voice lingered close to him. "But I will tell you that my employer-" The voice got cut off by a door being opened.
The lights in the room flickered on, making Medic wince. He blinked a few times and as his eyes got adjusted to the light he got a glance of his captor. A young girl stood beside the bed. Bright hazel eyes and hair as dark as his. "Good job, soldier." The BLU Soldier waltzed in, Pyro and Engineer behind him. "Hahaha... We've got you now..." The Soldier grinned. "We're going to get every last piece of information out of you no matter what it takes."
So BLU team was behind this! Scout's ripping apart would have to be postponed. "You expect to be getting anything out of me? Ha! You should have taken ze Scout! Little rat is too stupid to realise vhat is happening." The men in front of him exchanged glances.
"He 'ain't gonna tell us a damn thing, if hes anything like our Doc." Engineer stiffened. "Mmmph mm hmmph" Pyro motioned towards Medic. "Pyro's right. Every soldier has a breaking point, and this maggot isn't any different." Soldier about faced and started heading back towards the door. "You know what to do." He motioned to the girl before the three of them left.
The girl sat down solemnly on a chair beside the bed. "Yeah... Great..." For the first time, he had a proper chance to examine her. Early to mid-twenties, slim and a very shy demeanour. From the look of her clothes she was independent, so neither BLU nor RED. Although that was a relief, he hated her for bringing him here. He needed to be out on the field. Making sure that every single blue bastard was getting crushed. "You might as vell let me go." He growled. "I'm not a source of information for you BLU Saukerls." She winced slightly at the word. "I assure you, I don't want to do this." She responded. "But the money's good, and BLU pays a lot." She smiled. "Don't worry. It's only medicine." She giggled. No... This couldn't be... He HAD to escape!
