Never forgive, Never forget
Chapter One
New story! Woop Woop! Forgive me if I don't update too often. I will try as hard as I can. Honestly, I don't know what couple this fic will end up as. I don't plan my writing. It has a life of it's own, and I can't really change what happens next.
It takes place just after Duncan gets arrested and taken to jail.
Enjoy!
Don't forget me. Duncan sighed as he was dragged away by the police. He would have taken it all for Gwen. He had felt a real connection... but she hadn't. She had been his sense of purpose, his mojo... had been. He didn't understand it. What had he done?
Then it came to him. This must have all been Courtney's fault! Yes, she had tricked Gwen! There was no other explanation for it.
"Mark my words Courtney, you will pay for this." Duncan growled.
"Shut up." The policeman behind Duncan kicked him in the back.
At the jail:
Duncan groaned as he saw the cell he was going to be put in. Tiny, dark, damp, the list goes on. There was no furniture except for a rusty old bunk bed in the corner, and a hole next to it. At least he had no cell mates.
The cop shoved Duncan into the cell, and slammed the door behind him. The lock clicked shut. Groaning, Duncan climbed onto the top bunk, when a husky voice sliced through the darkness.
"That's my bed, newbie."
Startled, Duncan whipped around. He saw a pair of red eyes gleaming out of the darkest corner.
"S...Sorry man... I didn't... s...see you there. Of c...course you can have this bed."
Duncan climbed quickly down and jumped onto the lower, grosser bed.
"I think you misunderstood me... the bunk bed is mine. This cell... is mine. You better watch your back, boy." The pair of red eyes glinted with a foul light. Scorn and malice filled his words, and he spat the word boy out.
"S...so sorry. I'll just... sleep on the floor then." Duncan's voice shook as he climbed off the bunk and lay on the floor, as far away from the eyes as possible.
It was a long night, filled with terror. The pair of eyes watched Duncan unblinkingly from their spot in the corner. Though Duncan wondered why they did not move, fear stopped him from asking the question. He was glad they stayed in the corner. He did not have any wish to see what body could hold such evil things.
It had been a sleepless night. There were no windows in the cell, so no morning sunlight came peeking through the window. Duncan was shaking with suppressed terror, yet one thing held him together. Courtney. He would get his revenge on her, no matter what. Someday, he would be free from this cell, and when he is, blood will be spilt.
The husky voice from last night interrupted Duncan's brooding.
"So... why are you here."
"Uh..umm...I blew up a mansion."
"That's it? Pathetic. Why are you even in big boy jail?"
"Well... why are you here?" Duncan desperately attempted to sound brave.
"That... is for me to know, and you to find out."
So... did you like it? Did you hate it? Reviewwwww!
Until next time,
