Molly burst into the flat drenched in blood. Jim looked up and was startled by his girlfriend's appearance. This was a rather interesting look on her.

"Oh my god!"

"Hey Jim." Molly said, pretending nothing was wrong. That it was perfectly normal for her to be covered in that much blood. It wasn't.

Jim sighed. "How many people did you kill this time?"

"Five." Molly replied nonchalantly.

"Five! What brought that on?"

"Sherlock did."

"Do you want to tell me about it?" Jim inquired sympathetically.

Molly sat on the couch. "He had the nerve to tell me I had the autopsy of Jennifer Thompson all wrong. Then proceeds to tell me all my faults as a pathologist and insult my profession. I killed the bloody woman! I know how I killed her! I was there! Anyway, I took it out on a few innocent people walking down the street."

"I'm sorry, Moll." Jim rubbed her arms. "Although, you do look rather sexy like this."

Molly rolled her eyes. "You would say that."

"Do you feel better now?" Jim asked.

"Yeah. If he does it again, I'll kill him myself. Slowly and painfully." Molly said.

"I know. Wait here." Jim left the room and returned with a bowl of water and a cloth, and her favorite pajamas.

He took each hand and washed all the evidence of blood. He was gentle and loving as he cleaned all blood from her skin. Once he was satisfied with his work, he changed her into the pajamas.

"Thank you, love." Molly gave him a kiss.

Jim lifted her up and carried her to the bedroom. Molly giggled the whole time. He opened the door and Molly gasped. The room was filled with candles, casting a dim glow around the room. The bed was covered with rose petals.

"What is this?" Molly asked.

"Don't tell me that in your anger filled haze, you forgot the importance of today?" Jim feigned shock.

"It was like you said, an anger filled haze. Oh! Today is the anniversary of when we first kissed."

"Over the body of the French Ambassador's wife."

Jim put her on the bed and went over to the dresser. He came back with a velvet box.

"Molly, ever since I saw you kill your first person, I knew you were the only woman that would put up with me and my psychopathic ways. So, will you marry me?"

Molly smiled. "Yes. Someone needs to make sure you stay out of trouble."

"As long as it's you." Jim said.

Molly kissed him. To be the wife of the world's only consulting criminal was guaranteed to be a wonderful adventure.
