Disclaimer: Wishing on every star in the sky does not make it real... In other words, I do do not own Harry Potter or any related characters. Only the unnamed girl with chestnut hair is mine.
Words: 188 before author's notes.
A/N: Don't know where I came up with this but this is where one of my stories will end up. As they say, "it's always the darkest before the dawn", or something like that. Inspiration was from some Bellatrix pictures I saw on DA but I don't remember which ones.

It's your wedding day and you stand in front of the mirror, looking at your ever pale reflection. This is supposed to be the greatest day of your life but instead it is the worst because the woman you love isn't there to share it with you.

A single tear trails down your cheeks before it is magic away by your own wand. You take a deep breath and step away, wishing she was here but knowing you have to go through with this so she can be safe. You turn and leave the room as the music starts playing and you walk towards your new, broken life.

The procession passed in a blur, barely leaving an impression in your mind and suddenly the ceremony leader pronounces you bound forever to the one beside you. You both turn to the gathered pure blooded families and in the very back stands a young woman with short chestnut hair that you would know anywhere. She gives you a small, sad smile before saying the three words that will haunt you until everything else is taken from you.

"Good-bye, my Belle."

A/N: Yeah, it's short but it's supposed to be because of the story that leads up to it. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense either but that will be remedied later with the story that lead up to it. It's also written differently than how the rest will be written.
