Most people don't know the real side of America, well one person does but every time that side comes out it's scary. Instead of a happy, smiling idiot everyone thinks he is, he becomes a cold-hearted person and a super genius.
Canada always knew when he brother was in is real self there were certain clues that helped him. For instance if the front door is slightly open than he was probably pissed and forgot to shut the door. Than as he was continuing his walk inside he would find a table, chair or even the coach flipped over on its side. Never, ever be near America when he is at is strongest cause that's where the pain will really come from.
Next comes the kitchen, which is usually nice and clean, instead there would be red all over, the red substance was most likely blood. After looking in the kitchen he move towards the bedroom, which would be surprisingly untouched and go to the last room of the house, the private office.
There he would find the pissed off nation sitting with his back to him, not even knowing he came inside.
"Al what happened?" Canada asked his voice strong and stern as he waited patiently or so he seemed. On the inside he was close to running out the door and back home but he couldn't his brother needed him.
"Those idiots to the east are so smart but what about all the war they have caused? Is that smart?" Canada heard America mutter darkly, a shiver was sent down his spine.
This is not good, Canada thought as he moved from the front of the desk to the back to see a mad eyed American. Slowly coming closer to the nation, he placed his arm over the other's shoulders squeezing it slightly.
"What really happened Al?" He asked softly, feeling the other begin to relax under his touch, somehow it calmed the other.
"I heard them talking about me again, this time it wasn't about my weight but about my country. How I can't seem to keep it under control and how I'm letting it run by mad man." America said his voice cracking as silent tries began to make their way down his slender face. The face that has seen so much bloodshed that even a little talk can make him loose it.
"Alfred F. Jones should not be worried about anything the others say, want to know why?" Canada asked as he inched closer to his brother, than he felt the movement against his arm, the movement of a nod.
"Because Alfred F. Jones is the hero of many people, especially of his citizens he brings happiness wherever he goes." He said as he moved to face his brother head on, locking eyes with the sadden blue eyes. "Never let any of those nasty old nations change that about you, you are special you help millions of people every day. No one else does that, you have risked your life for others and never have you been selfish."
After hearing that, America collapsed into his brothers arms crying as he let all of his misery out in that moment. The moment when someone close to you says the words that you need to hear.
Stroking the back of his head, Canada softly hums the national anthem to the sobbing nation. Tightening his grip on the other he felt himself feel for his younger sibling as no one every knew what he went through or just how dangerous he could really be.
"Mattie you are the only the one that means anything to me," America says through the sobs earning a smile from the other and a tightened hug.
