I DONT OWN NARUTO OR SAKURA AND INO...but please enjoy :)

"This isn't how it's supposed to be!" ino screamed taking steps away from sakura, tears stinging her eyes. Sakura sighed "maybe it's not how it's supposed to be, but this is how it's meant to be, for us at least" she took a step toward ino.

"No!" she shook her head "no, Th-this is disgusting, repulsive, it's n-not ok!" sakura just stood there, absorbing the hits. She knew that ino didn't mean the things that she was saying, it was just the way she was brought up, but it hurt all the same.

"Ino" sakura caught her arm as she tried to turn and run. Ino couldn't figure it out, when had sakura gotten so close? Ino couldn't think, she couldn't breathe; she fell to the ground on her knees, shoving her head in her hands trying to push back the tears that were threatening to spill. Sakura watched the crumbling mess in front of her who used to be her ino.

"My-my parents told me that you were bad news, they, they told me that you drag me straight to hell with you but I didn't listen!" Ino screamed between sobs, sakura had had lost her cool, but only for a moment. "Damn it ino, this isn't about your parents, or heaven or hell, damn it this isn't even about me, it's about you!" sakura sighed.

She crouched down to ino who still had her hand over her eyes, and spoke softly as if trying not to wake a sleeping child. "Ino" she whispered as she set her hands on top of hers, she half expected ino to pull away, but she didn't she only jumped slightly. "Ino, what do you want?" she only got small hiccups in response.

Sakura tried again "Ino, please" ino finally lifted her eyes to meet sakuras emerald ones. She wiped her eyes of the tears streaming down her face, only to make room for the fresh ones to go rolling.

"I-I wish I would've never met you, everything was perfect, before you came and started messing things up. I knew who I was, and where I was going I never had to question anything because I thought I knew everything!" ino caught her breath before speaking again, she didn't have to look very hard to see the pain in sakuras eyes, but she kept going on either way.

She closed her eyes tightly and clutched the cross that gently rested on her chest "and now you make me question one of the things I hold most sacred to my heart, my faith" she dropped her hand from her chest, and picked herself up from the ground. She wiped her eyes free from the remaining tears; sakura stood and straightened herself out as well. She sighed, looking into inos tear stained eyes killed her, and it killed her even more knowing that she was the cause of her pain.

She lowered her eyes to the ground and spoke cautiously "Ino, honestly, if I knew that, that was the type of pain I was putting you thru, I would've never kept trying. I know that I kind of just showed up and started moving things around without permission but you have to believe me, I would never want to put you thru that kind of suffering, it's just I don't know, I needed you." She stopped for a second trying glue together the words that were flying around her head. "I want you to be with me, but only if your happy and I see that, that's pretty much impossible. I want you to be happy and if that means that I have to walk out of your life, then so be it. But I have one question for you." Ino nodded signaling sakura to continue "what were you thinking about when you kissed me?" ino smirked and gave the only answer that would satisfy them both "hell". Sakura smiled and watched as the love of her life faded into the darkness and out of her life, sakura knew that ino was the closest to heaven that she'd ever get in this lifetime.
