The Sharpest Lives

Howls of laughter erupted around the room as Gilbert, Ludwig, and the rest of the trio drank to their hearts content. Loud music blasted through out the room, a few ladies came in and out of what one would think to be a college party. Thunder crashed outside, though drowned out by the noise. The neighbors were sure to be ticked by this time, but no one dared to come out in this storm to correct the ruthless characters.

Well it rains and it pours when your out on your own

If I crash on the couch can I sleep in my clothes?

Cause I spent the night dancing, I'm drunk I suppose

If I look like I'm laughing, I'm really just asking to leave.

Selena sat in the corner, a scowl on her face as she watched the four drunks reap havoc on the home. She huffed and stood, annoyance in her features. She knew she would have to be the one driving Antonio home, but she just couldn't stay in this place much longer.

"Antonio, I'll be in the car when you think your ready!" She declared only to be returned with a inattentive, hysterical laugh. Letting out a sigh, she walked out the door into the pouring rain and began toward her car, parked on the side of the road.

"Selena," came a confident voice at the door. Rolling her eyes, she turned a spiteful frown toward the tall man who stood behind her, "Where you goin?" He questioned, stepping forward.

This alone, your in time for the show

You're the one that I need, I'm the one that you loathe,

You can watch me corrode like a beast in repose

'Cause I love all the poison away with the boys in the band

Selena rolled her eyes, she hated it when he was drunk.

"I'm going sit in the car," She retorted, turning back toward her vehicle.

"Aww, but it's so much more fun inside!" he grinned, stepping forward more, "At least a kiss before you go?"

"No Gilbert, your drunk!" She detested.

Gilbert laughed, "I'm not drunk! I'm Awesome!"

I've really been on a bender and it shows

So why don't you blow me a kiss before she goes?

His lips pressed hard against hers, and though at first she tried to push him away, she eventually gave in. Admitting to herself she was enjoying it, she knew if he were sober there would be no problem. And still, the foul sent of alcohol lingered on him.

He pulled back slightly, a small smirk crossing his features when Selena glared up at him.

"I hate you for this, you know that?" She muttered.

His smirk grew, "Yep." His lips pressed against hers once again and she could feel her back hit the cold vehicle as her arms slid around his neck, pulling him closer. Her figures lacing into his hair, she could feel his hand moving along her back.

Give me a shot to remember

And you can take all the pain away from me

A kiss and I will surrender
