Twas the night before Christmas, and all through Knothole
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mole
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
Tails was nestled all snug in his bed
While visions of adventures raced through his head.
While Sonic ran one final lap,
Then settled down in his bed for a nap.
Then out near the town there arose such a clatter
People sprang from their beds to see what was the matter.
The moon shining down through the trees did reveal
A man who was thoroughly mad and evil.
And lying in tattered chunks all around
Was the plane he had crashed straight into the ground.
Recovering just a little too quick,
Eggman cried to the crowd, "I must see Sonic!"
A madman has kidnapped our dear Santa Claus!
We simply must save him, there's no time for pause!"
With the hedgehog in tow, Eggman raced to his city,
Then started to chuckle. "Oh, what a pity!"
This was all just a trap, as you surely must know.
Now here's my gift, to the robotocizer you go!"
Sonic just laughed, and ran away quick.
"Eggman, you'll get no gifts from St. Nick."
"You've been so naughty, I'm sure you must know.
You'll get nothing for Christmas but a big lump of coal."
Sonic smiled, having enjoyed this new fun.
And giving a wave, away did he run.
Gritting his teeth, and giving a wail.
Eggman followed of course, but to no prevail.
But Sonic heard him exclaim as he stood in the fog.
"I hate Christmas, and I hate that hedgehog!
