It was a slow night. Oliver had gone on patrol and nothing of significance happened. He followed a few sketchy looking thugs through The Glades for about 20 minutes before realizing they were stumbling home from a night on the town. When he returned everything seemed normal. Felicity was typing away doing some scan he couldn't remember asking to do, Roy was practicing intently and Diggle was out at Big Belly getting food for all of them.
Boredom set in pretty quick in the silence so he decided to play with Roy. Roy lined up his shot and just as he let go Oliver coughed. "Excuse me" He muttered as the arrow missed its target. "Thanks" Roy snarled as he pulled an arrow from his quiver slung across his back. "I got food!" Diggle boomed as he walked in, just as Roy let go again. "Come On Guys!" He yelled. Felicity giggled but said "enough guys"
"Sorry" Oliver said leaning round her chair and kissing her softly on the cheek. A slight rose flush made its way to her cheeks and she hit him lightly on his arm. "Play nice." Oliver just shrugged his shoulders and leaned towards her ear so only she could hear the words spoken next "That's not what you said last night" he whispered quietly as he kissed at her neck.
"Not at the foundry kids!" Diggle yelled around a bite of his burger. Oliver shrugged again and grabbed his and Felicity's food before walking over to give it to his Felicity. "No crumbs!" She panicked as she brushed the crumbs from the screens. "Look!" She pointed at the screens "you will clean all of that grease off those screens before you finish that burger"
"But-"
"No, now or you will sleep in here tonight"
"Way to go" Roy smirked
"You are so whipped" Diggle laughed. Oliver just snarled and grabbed the cleaner from the shelf.
"Make sure you get all of it" Felicity joked.
"If I didn't love you…"Oliver trailed off.
"But you do" Felicity said coming up behind him and putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah I do" Oliver turned around and kissed her. It was soft yet all the passion in the world was there. When he pulled away it left them both breathless. Eyes lingering closed as if to savour the moment. The sound of a door closing is what broke them from their moment. Both Diggle and Roy had left. "Oops" Oliver breathed. Felicity's answer was just to kiss him again. She would never get enough of this. It took a long time for Oliver to realize his feelings for the blonde tech girl but now she was his blonde tech girl. As they broke apart Felicity realised she was now touching Oliver's bare chest. She blushed as she realized it was her that had unzipped the green hood and pulled it away from his arms. "You've seen worse" Oliver smiled as Felicity stared at his chest.
"It's so not worse." Felicity couldn't believe what had come out of her mouth, she'd said some pretty suggestive stuff but this was just crazy. "I mean, it's not, not worse it's definitely not worse but I … I'm going to shut up before I insult you and … no um…" Felicity huffed and hung her head. Oliver chuckled "you'd think after 4 months that you wouldn't blush or ramble about seeing me undressed" Oliver raised an eyebrow and put a t-shirt on. "Better?"
"No" Felicity mentally hit herself. She sighed.
"Not your day huh?" Oliver asked as he changed his pants.
"Not really" Oliver walked over to her.
"I'm sorry" He wrapped her in a hug and she couldn't help but take a deep breath. He smelled like Oli. She never called him that out loud but in these moments was when he felt like his nick name. Cute, Warm, Soft it was just wonderful to be wrapped in his arms like this. "I love you" She heard him whisper
"I love you too."
