It was the night of the party, Taichi got dressed up in a snazzy outfit, it had a black shirt in the inside, a brown casual suit jacket, and some brown pants, and to top it off, he put on a pair of sunglasses.
Hikari looked at Taichi, and smiled, saying "You look smart, Taichi-san."
Taichi smiled, patted Hikari on the head, and said "Thanks.", as he walked out the door.
Hikari yellled after him, "Who are you getting dressed up for, anyways? Mimi?"
Taichi fell over, and then grabbed a rock off the ground and threw it at Hikari, mummuring something about how she was an idiot.
Taichi walked over to Yamato's apartment, and nodded, saying to himself, "Taichi... you'll be okay.."
Taichi walked in, and a swarm of girls appeared around him.
He looked over to Yamato, to see that he was having the same problem.
Yamato walked over to Taichi, and whispered, "All the Chosen Children are here, except Daisuke, Hikari, and Sora."
"Hai, Daisuke and Hikari are walking over here together, I think Hikari's mad at Takeru... " Taichi whispered back.
Daisuke and Hikari walked in the door suddenly, and Takeru walked over to Daisuke angry.
"I think your theory was right", Yamato answered.
Sora walked in the door, with her normal smile.
She walked over to Yamato, and said "Gomen-yo. I had Tennis Practice."
Yamato stared at her, and not really caring, replied "Oh."
Taichi moved all the girls away, and walked over to Sora, coolly.
"Hey, Sora... Long time no see." he said.
Sora nodded, and kept a smile on her face.
"Do you want to go sit down...?" he questioned.
"Sure" she replied with a big smile.
"What have you been up to lately?" he said, pushing his sunglasses on more, so he could hide his tears if he started to cry.
"Well, I've been helping my mom, in tennis class, playing soccer.. You know me.." she said.
"No, not anymore..." he said weakly.
"Nani? Taichi? What's wrong...?" she said concerned.
Taichi got up and walked on to the balcony, not replying.
Sora chased after him, and then she bumped into Mimi.
"Sora-san! I haven't seen you in forever!" said Mimi.
"Gomen, Mimi-chan! I need to find Taichi-chan!" said Sora.
"What do you want with him?" Mimi said coldly.
"To talk..." replied Sora.
"Can you see if he likes me? Or if Yamato likes me?" Mimi said happily.
"Sure! Later, after I talk to Taichi!" said Sora, with a nice smile.
"Great!" screamed Mimi.
Everyone stared at Mimi, and then went back to doing what they were doing before.
- On the Balcony -
"Taichi....?" Sora said, with a worried look on her face.
"Hai?" he replied with a cold tone.
"What's wrong..?" she said, looking down.
"You." he replied.
"Why me...? What did I do..?" whined Sora.
"You left me alone." he said, with no emotion in his words.
"I thought...." she said, but Taichi intrupted her.
"I love you..." he said, looking out on the city of Tokyo, he then turned around, and kissed her softly on the lips.
