-1 It was 7:30 a.m. and Troy Bolton was arriving at the doors of East High. He had woken up late today seeing as he was up half the night with Gabriella on the phone. Thoughts were rushing through his head. Last night while on the phone Gabby told him she was pregnant….. with his child!!!!
He was nervous about seeing her today. "Is she mad at me for my reaction on the phone last night?" he thought. After saying hi to Chad and the rest of the Wildcat crew he made his way to Gabriella's locker. She hugged him when he got there though she seemed hesitant. She was upset.
He came right out and said it. "Gabz, I'm sorry about the way I acted last night. I was wrong and I admit it." "Troy" she said " How could you act like that? You act like you don't want this baby." She looked at Troy like he was nothing, like he wasn't there. "I do, I really do, It's just……" he sighed. "It's just what?" she asked "… It's just that we are to young I mean we are only 16,we can't raise this baby alone, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make this right." He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. "Gabriella, I love you more than you will ever know. Will you please marry me?" Tears welled up in her eyes, she was speechless, she didn't know what to say. So she said the only word that came to mind…. YES.
