Chapter 1: New house
"Yeah, It's a great place and can't wait to move in," Sakura said into her cell phone. "I know we aren't gonna be neighbours anymore but you can stay over whenever you like. Okay, talk to you later Ino, bye." She pressed the end call button to hang up. Sakura was very excited. She had finally gotten what she always wanted, a place of her own. Hinata moved out of her home when she and Kiba got married and is now living in a nice, two bedroom house, Tenten left her home is now living with her fiancé, Neji in their new house that they bought a few months ago, Ino is still living in the Yamanaka Flower Shop, but she is looking for a place for her and her boyfriend, Shino to live. Sakura was on her way to her new house to have a look around and she couldn't wait.
When she got there, she took out her key and unlocked the door. But before she stepped inside, she spotted Tenten coming out of her house next door, closing and locking the door behind her. Tenten turned to Sakura and waved.
"Hey, neighbour," she greeted cheerfully.
Sakura smiled at her friend. "Hey, Tenten," she greeted back. "How's Neji?"
"He's fine," said Tenten. "So, you're here to check out your new home then?"
"Yeah," said Sakura. "I can't wait to see it. Wanna look around with me?"
"Sure," said Tenten.
Sakura and Tenten went inside Sakura's new house to have a look around.
The entrance hall had a radiator, coved cornice, staircase off, window to side and paneled doors off.
The living room had a working open feature fireplace, radiator, coved cornice, picture rail, television point and windows to the side and rear.
The dining room had a working open feature fireplace, coved cornice, picture rail, a radiator and a bay window to the front.
The kitchen had a Range of floor and wall mounted units, work surface with inset sink unit, tiling, range oven with hood, pantry, space and services for fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, integrated dishwasher, space for table and chairs, radiator, wall mounted gas boiler for central heating/hot water, coved ceiling, windows to sides and rear and French doors to the rear garden.
The landing had coved ceiling, access to loft space, radiators, paneled doors off and windows to the side,
Bedroom one had radiators, picture rail, coved ceiling, dressing area and windows to the front.
Bedroom two had a picture rail, coved ceiling, fitted wardrobes, radiator and window to rear.
Bedroom three had built in cupboard, radiator, picture rail, coved ceiling and window to the rear.
The bathroom was an attractive refitted suite in white/chrome featuring paneled bath with shower, pedestal wash hand basin and close coupled W.C. towel radiator, fully tiled walls, coved ceiling and frosted window to the side.
The garden was an outstanding 87ft x 45ft (max) garden to the side and rear, laid mainly to lawn with patio and flower/shrub beds, shed and fencing.
The two girls made their way back down stairs.
"So, what do you think?" Tenten asked.
"It's perfect," Sakura replied. "All I need to do now is hire a decorator." She whipped out her cell phone and began to dial, but Tenten snatched the phone off her and pressed end call.
"Hey!" Sakura exclaimed. "Why did you do that?"
"You don't need a decorator," said Tenten. "I'll help you; in fact, I'll ask Hinata and Ino if they want to help too."
"Really, there's no need," said Sakura.
Tenten whipped out her cell phone and began to text one of her friends.
'I hope they know what they're doing' thought Sakura.
