CHAPTER ONE: WHO SENT THIS?
Artemis walked through the halls of St. Barbley (AN: I think that's the name...). It was the day before valentines day so everything was decorated in red. It's an all boys school so there was no pink.
The school day was over and Artemis was heading up to his room which he shared with two other boys his age, Luke and Chandler. Of course, when Artemis opened the door he found the boys rolling on the ground fighting over something. The way very immature.
Luke and Chandler had not noticed his presence so Artemis coughed into his hand.
They both stopped immediately.
"Hey Artemis! Um..." Luke looked guiltily at the envelope he was holding. Apparently that was what he and Chandler were fighting over.
"What is that?" Artemis pointed to the envelope.
"Um... It's a letter." Said Luke.
"For you." Finished Chandler.
"You do know that looking through other people's mail is illegal." Artemis found it funny that these boys were the same age as him but he was constantly giving them lectures on something like they were his little brothers. Ah... I wonder how Myles and Beckett are?
"Yes but Artemis it's from a girl! We wanted to know if you had a girlfriend or something." Said Chandler.
This got Artemis's attention. "What's the name?"
"Um..." Luke turned the envelope around so he could find the name. "Poppy."
"Poppy who?"
"Nothing. It just says Poppy."
Artemis didn't know anyone named Poppy. "What is the return address?"
"There isn't one." Luke responded. Artemis walked over, took the envelope, and sat on his bed. He opened the envelope and read the letter inside.
Dear Arty,
Meet me in the courtyard tomorrow at noon. There's something I need to tell you.
Love, your valentine
"Do you know who it's from?" Asked Chandler.
Artemis shook his head. He'll have to find out tomorrow.
