This Is A Continuation
A continuation of a This Is A Pen chapter
Note: This is a continuation of Chapter 7!

Percy was hopping for his life. The arrows just kept getting closer. And hotter. And more importantly, closer.

Apollo grinned from the sun chariot. "Come on, little jackalope! Be a good pet and lemme impale you with an arrow! Come on, lil Bartholomew!"

Percy furrowed his brow. "WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! I'M YOUR FREAKING COUSIN! PERCY! PERCY JACKSON! SON OF MOTHERFREAKING POSEIDON! DAMN IT! AND MY NAME IS NOT FREAKING BARTHOLOMEW! IT IS PERCY!"

But all that came out of his little jackalope mouth was 'OMNOMNOM RAWR BLEDELEH NOMON BURP'.

Apollo shook his head. "Silly Bartholomew! Everyone knows that jackalopes don't say OMNOMNOM! Only Furies do that when they eat demigods!"

Percy gritted his teeth. The freaking sun guy was not going to give up. He'd have to make a run for it. But where?

He noticed a lake over to one side. "YES! Hopefully my adorable jackalope body will not dampen the powers my daddy bestowed upon me when I was conceived!"

But all that came out was 'HFHSNDGDBVDOFHDFHDBVCBVWQWR'.

Apollo chuckled. "Oh, poor, poor Bartholomew. Just let me impale your jackalope ass! It'll only hurt a lot!"

Percy was now scared, very much so. "RUN, LITTLE JACKALOPE FEET, RUN!"

But all that came out was '!NUR, TEEF EPOLAKCAJ ELTTIL ,NUR'.

Apollo was conceited. "In celebration of the impalement of Bartholomew, I shall compose a haiku, since I am just that amazing:

Chasing through the woods,

Impaling Bartholomew,

Stupid jackalope."

Percy groaned. It was the WORST haiku that he had ever heard, but he was almost to the lake. "BONZAI!" Percy screeched.

But all that came out was, 'BONZAI!'

Apollo frowned. "Bonzai?"

Percy jumped on his little jackalope feet and flew into the lake. "YES! SAFE!" he yelled in the water, thinking Poseidon would keep him safe.

And then Percy drowned.

Apollo shoo his head. "Poor, poor Bartholomew. HAIKU TIME:

Bartholomew died,

He has drowned in a blue lake,

Now my pet is gone."
