Okay. Okay. Umm. This is my 2nd time posting this story. Mainly because I got a new computer and I lost it but then I logged in here and found it and realized that I haven't updated since May. So I felt that it was necessary to repost. I promise I'll be more responsible about updating. I don't own anything. Reviews and suggestions would be awesome though.
Practiced on our sins
Never gonna let me win
Under everything
Just another human being
I don't want to hurt
There's so much in this world
to make me believe
Stay with me
You're all I see.
Just Breathe- Pearl Jam
Kendall Knight's eyes stung with tears as he slumped up against the wall, his hands trembling as he held his lover's lifeless body close to him. He he couldn't cry for help because he went mute, he couldn't do anything except for sit there staring at the peeling white walls, hoping that somehow this was all just a horrible dream, that he'd wake up and she'd be there like the days before.
Kendall had officially lost the one thing in his life that mattered, the one thing that proved to him that life was worth the constant struggle, that one person who stood by his side through the worst of his depression was gone forever. He pulled her limp body closer and he felt tears roll down his face, every beat of his heart seemed to take more effort than it was worth, but somehow, it just kept beating.
"Please don't leave me." He said as he tightened his grip on her, believing that it would somehow bring her back to life.
"Please, stay with me." He begged as he gently rocked her. Her blood was staining his shirt but he didn't care, he'd hold her forever if he had to. He wasn't ready to let her go, there was so much he had planned to do.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black box. He reached for her hand and whispered weakly "I was gonna propose. We would've been so happy." He began to sob. It had occurred to him that he'd never hear her soft heartbeat again, she'd never wake up next to him tangled in the sheets, he'd never see her smile again, or hold her close.
He stared at his wall again, he didn't know how he was going to live his life without her. He didn't even want to live his life without her, he'd rather be dead than without her.
Kendall was trembling, his tears running down his face and heart heavy. He had nothing before she came along, somehow she became his everything the only thing he needed after his life fell apart.
He looked around and saw the gun that she was murdered with, his palms were sweaty, his heart was racing, he was really going though with this.
He put the gun against his temple and took a deep breath. He kissed her forehead and placed the gun at his temple and pulled the trigger and shot.
For once Kendall was at perfect peace.
