Hey, it's me again, with another Chary oneshot. I'm becoming so addicted to this pairing it's almost insane LOL
He felt the sunshine caress his eyelids and immediately cursed under his breath.
Damn, the morning had come too soon. It seemed like the night had flown by. Hours ago he was making love to her, now he had to hurry if he didn't want to get caught. He ran his fingers through her auburn hair and felt her stir immediately.
- Milady, I have to go - he whispered to the half asleep lady curled beside him.
- No - she pouted like a little child, her mind still blurred by sleep. - It's just the moonlight, Eustace. Come back to bed.
He smirked in amusement.
- It's the sunshine, mi ángel. Let me go - Chapuys said, removing her arm from
across his torso. He heard her sigh in acceptance and rub her eyes gently. Mary
heard him hiss in pain when he got up.
- Are you feeling well?
- Yes, it's just my leg.
- How many times have I asked to use a cane? - she said in a worried tone.
- I don't need a cane, Mary. I can still walk by myself. Besides, I don't want to give
Marillac another reason to scorn me. - He knew that the French ambassador
described him in as an old rug. Mary rolled her eyes inwardly, but said nothing.
She kind of amused herself with the rivalry between the two, but she despised
Marillac as well.
- Furthermore, I don't think my leg is an impediment to other kind of activites - he winked, and she flushed a little, stifling a giggle.
- Now I have to go - he said, buttoning his doublet and leaning forward to kiss her forehead. - See you later, mi amor. She lifted her head a few inches to meet his lips in a gentle and passionate kiss.
- Have a good day, Eustace.
- I'll see you tonight - he whispered.
- That would be lovely, if you can still walk, that is - she said, looking concernedly at his leg.
- Don't bother yourself Madam, I'm sure I can drag myself here - she laughed again watching him leave. She knew that it was wrong, but for once in her life, she didn't care. No matter how loud her reason yelled at her to stop this romance, her heart had chosen its own path long before.
