Her father had been against it from the get-go, but Jinora had said she wanted to go see how probenders trained after reading a book that Korra had lent her, and by golly, that was going to happen!

It may have helped that she might have knowingly annoyed her mother until she screamed at her husband (Just let her go already! She'll be fine. I'm pregnant and don't need this stress!). Jinora may have just been ten, but she already knew the fine art of manipulation.

She trailed behind Korra's swaggering walk, her eyes wide as she tried to take in every sight there was, and then she noticed the handsome firebender that Korra talked about- Mako, but it was the other one, the louder one that got her attention.

Bolin.

From what she knew about the brothers, Bolin wasn't the type of person she could get along very well with. He was loud, and careless, always wanting to play with his fire ferret Pabu instead of being serious.

Jinora went to sit in the corner while they trained, but soon enough a large presence settled itself beside her. Her eyes were drawn towards bright green, and she had a hard time placing the exact color they could be described as.

"So, you're the granddaughter of the avatar?" His voice was light, and she wondered if he was trying to tease her.

"Right." she blinked as she wondered where he was going with this.

Bolin nodded along before flicking his eyes over toward Korra and Mako. "So, does that mean Korra is your grandfather?"

Interesting question. Jinora's eyes widened as she thought about it. "Well, no, not in the biological sense."

"Hmm…good," He nodded decisively at that. "Can you teach me how to be a leaf?"

This man was so odd. Jinora followed along behind him, trying to teach him how to let go and flow. As she left the gym that night with Korra, she changed her first assessment of Bolin.

He was very much her type.
