My first Doctor Who fanfic where Amy makes an appearance. Tell me what you think, please!

"You made up stories? Played games?" He chuckled, softly. "Played dress-up with Rory?"

Amy felt self-conscious. The Doctor was here first friend in England. He was the first person to show her kindness, even if he was ordering her about all of the time. "Can't you go back?" She looked up at him, across the room, looking back at her. His hair was in his eyes, as always. "I waited for you all night. For years after, I still believed you would come for me that you would save me from this Godforsaken town! If you have a time machine, why can't you go back! Why can't you save the little girl you left in the yard that night! 4 physiatrists! All trying to tell me that you didn't exist! They thought you were a dream that I had expanded into my real life. So what did I do? I pretended. I created stories. I accepted their reasoning, and I grew up. All because you said FIVE MINUTES!"

"Pond, I'm sorry. The TARDIS is still new. Things are still getting sorted out." He ruffled his hair, pacing around a bit. "I didn't mean to leave you for so long, and when I did return I honestly believed it had been five minutes." It took him 5 strides to be across the room, to be cupping her face in his hands. He wiped a tear from the corner of her eye before it fell down her cheek.

"Why couldn't it be, though. This is a time machine. Go back!" She stomped her foot, and the Doctor held back a laugh. In all of this nine-hundred-and-seven years, he couldn't think of one person who actually stomped their foot when they were angry.

Looking into her eyes, clouded with tears he said. "But then we would never meet."

"We met 14 years ago!" Honestly, couldn't she keep her temper down? He wished the sonic screwdriver had a calming effect.

"I met little Amelia Pond 14 years ago, and she isn't who is standing in front of me now." Amy blinked.

"I'm the same person." The Doctor tucked her hair behind her ear.

"But you're not. You can't be. Your disappointment in me has shaped who you are." She had stopped crying.

"Why do I have to be like this? Why can't I be the little girl who went on adventures with the raggedy doctor?" Now he couldn't help but chuckle.

"Because Amelia Pond. I'm here now, and I wouldn't change you for the world." He smiled, and soon she couldn't help but smile too. She wrapped her arms around him. He was right. She was here now, and she would never let him leave her again.

They keep getting longer and longer! Soon I'll have a full page! Please review! Tell me what you think!
