Post Epilogue Challenge
There are probably a number of similarities between this and the Elder Wand challenge at portkey DOT org, however there are a number of differences.
1/ Must take every aspect of the the books including epilogue as canon, including all of the children.
2/ No Dumbledore/Ron/Ginny/Molly bashing. Must take into account both the characters' weaknesses and strengths.
3/ It is a Harry and Hermione fic. Taking 1/ into account, Hermione must not have been secretly pining for Harry from the beginning out of respect for JKR's insistence that Hermione and Ron have been pining for each other since Book 4.
4/ The fic begins at the end of the Battle of Hogwarts and can proceed post epilogue. The fic must address what has been done concerning the Deathly Hallows by the Trio.
5/ Deus ex machina allowed (i.e. character deaths, violence, etc.) EXCEPT for Ginny giving Harry love potion in Book 6 and a Soul Bond between Harry and Hermione (however no one is stopping the author to make them Soul Mates).
6/ Fic length is expected to be Epic (more than 40,000 words).
7/ Can be any genre (not purely angst). Expected rating is from T to MA+.
8/ Can be told from ANY characters' point of view as long as every other rule above is complied with.
