.:Blood:.

Calla was walking from the Temple, humming quietly as she shifted the air currents. The Charis smiled to herself as she thought of her beloved god Hermes. Of course it was Lady Aphrodite who sponsored her, but even her goddess knew not to mess with true love. The blonde girl turned her mismatched gaze as she felt a shift in the wind current, her eyes widening.

She fell as someone slapped her, knocking her down with the sheer force of it. She winced and stayed on the ground, holding her cheek. She looked up to meet the slightly psychotic gaze of her brother Thymos. They'd only found out they were siblings that year, and at first he was so kind to her, but now...he beat her for no reason, leaving her with wounds to try to hide from her friends and teachers. She never told anyone though, not wanting to hurt the only family she had left.

The 17-year-old Charis sat up and looked up at him.

"Th-Thymos...what do you want this time...?" she asked quietly, avoiding meeting his eyes directly.

The male frowned and kicked her in the ribcage, making her cough up some blood. He broke a rib or two last time he hit her, so she was still weak from it. Thymos just smirked and leaned down, grabbing her hair roughly and forcing her head back so she looked him directly in the eye. She winced and bit her lip to keep from whimpering. Unfortunately, this made him a bit angry. He frowned in disapproval and his eyes flashed as he punched her right cheek, knocking her to the ground again. He then pulled out a small blade and sliced a few cuts into her skin, some blood flowing freely. But the male was smart, always cutting her where no one could see it. He wouldn't give up, oh, no he would not. He grinned with the same insane glint she always saw in his eyes as he observed his handiwork. He then stood and left her there, the grass being stained with the blood of a broken girl as she cried quietly to herself.
