"katniss?" Peeta asks to darkness.
"yeah,"katniss replies.
"when do you think we will have kids?"
"peeta,you promised we wouldn't talk about this until tomorrow!I just want to get some sleep!"
"I know, I know but when katniss?"
peeta suddenly starts to hear katniss' familiar snore, and he slowly drifts off to sleep next day he asks katniss what is wrong because she had been moody all week.
"Peeta! I'm pregnant okay! I didn't want to tell you yet!"
"you are?! I...I...I'm gonna be a dad!?"
"yes peeta you are."
several months later...
"good morning peeta!Peeta? Peeta!where are you?"
katniss is now 8 months pregnant and can barely get out of bed on her own, let alone run to find her husband. katniss gets up after a few minutes of struggling, and goes to find her sister prim.
she goes downstairs and just about loses it when she checks every room in the house and peeta's phone is on the counter and his truck in the no peeta anywhere.
