Enjoy the story, it will be slow paced and chapters will be short, but that means regular updating will be possible.

Leaning back into his seat William Lennox let out a relaxing sigh. Living with giant alien robots didn't promise one a peaceful time.

Decepticon activity was on a low these days and a rest wouldn't hurt anyone, besides his alien partner was taking over his shift.

Ironhide or as he had started to call him hide was not only an ally to him anymore, he became his partner, guardian and a personal friend to his family.

Their interest with combat and weapons closely linked them. Sarah didn't have any objections to his friend anymore and his little girl very much liked her 'uncle hide' as she always called him.

It was like his daughter saw his partner as a human being, well they acted so human like, from emotions and it did not help that they have started to pick up human gestures.

But when they transformed all of that human like façade shattered and was replaced by the realization on how alien they could be.

Leaning a little further into the seat to avoid the sun shining directly into his face and moving under the shadow that the areal hangar cast to escape the heat.

The heat of the day was pressing down upon the small island and the tarmac looked like it was cooking, sliding his foot out of the shade and pressing one foot into the tarmac and returning with a black print on his lower boot confirmed his suspicion.

Taking in a deep breath he closed his eyes and waited.

2 minutes later he could hear a pair of footsteps approaching him and his scowl deepened.

This was going to be a long hot day…

I have started writing this story to explore the similarity between humans and cybertronians. I will try to update every two days. Reviews are welcomed.
