A/N: I saw the Les Miserables movie yesterday…IT WAS AMAZING. I am now inspired to do a one –shot crossover with Doctor Who. It's kinda inspired by Cosette's song "Castle on a cloud." Remember in the Christmas Special, the Doctor was on a cloud? ;)

Castle on a Cloud
Once upon a time, in a tiny, dirty little village in Paris, there lived a young girl named Cosette. This little girl lived with the cruel Thenardiers; in their dingy, smelly inn. They put her to work as a slave; scrubbing the floors and sweeping the parlor. Her only joy was the little doll she made out of cloth and two little buttons she stole from Madame Thenardier's purse when she wasn't looking.
She sung while she worked; a little song about a 'Castle on a Cloud'; where no one would work and there's toys galore. What she didn't know was that her dream was about to come true in the most peculiar way. You see, for some time now, without her knowing; there was a man that was watching her. Not a bad or mean man, but the most wonderful man in the universe. He had taken a liking to Cosette; he wanted to protect her and get her away from the Thenardiers.
He's travelled all over the world and the stars; looking for special people to take on spectacular adventures. His current 'companion' (as they're called) is named Clara Oswin. She came from much the same place as Cosette; except for that she was from London about 63 years later.
They decided they were going to surprise Cosette later; take her to their own 'Castle on a cloud.' They watched from a distance; so wanting to intervene and whisk her away from this world.
