Where she was from snow was just in stories. She grew up in a dessert. Sand, sand, and more sand. It was salty, rough, and itchy. It was everywhere. You couldn't escape the sand. It got in your shoes, and your clothes. It was almost as if your outfit was not complete without a little bit of sand.

She had always thought sand was just there. It was everywhere in Israel. But here, in Washington D.C., they had snow. White, fluffy, cold snow. It was everywhere during the winter months. Falling from the sky, on the roads, on the sidewalks, on your car, on the steps outside your apartment, on your windows even. Snow had taken over her life.

It was just another December morning. The cold air chilled her to the bones. She pulled her coat tighter around her slender frame. She continued brushing snow off of her car and scraping the frost off the windows. She hated this part of winter. As soon as she had finished she jumped in her car and started on her way to work. Her commute took longer then any other day due to traffic. She really hated this part of winter.

When she finally managed to make it to NCIS, she practically sprinted into the building. Letting the heat of the lobby warm her cold boy. She took the stairs not wanting to wait for the elevator by the front door that was continuingly being opened. As she walked into the bullpen she saw an unusual thing; Tony DiNozzo was at work before her. He saw her and smiled the DiNozzo smile.

"Good morning, Tony." Ziva said as she reluctantly took off her coat and sat down at her desk. A Styrofoam cup was placed in front of her. It smelled like chocolate. Ziva brought the cup to her mouth and took a zip of the hot liquid. It wasn't just hot chocolate. But Ziva couldn't place what exactly it was.

"It's vanilla hot chocolate, Zeevah!" Tony said as he walked around to her side of the desk. He took the cup from her hands and placed it down on her desk. Ziva just gave him a curious look as he pulled her out of her seat and into the space between their desks.

"Stay." Tony said as he ran over to his desk and hit a few buttons. "Walking In A Winter Wonderland" by Dean Martin started to play. He then ran back over to Ziva and took her into his arms and started to sway. Singing along with the music.

"Sleigh bells ring are you listening
In the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight oh we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland" Tony sang as he spun Ziva out and back in.

"Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He's singing a song as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland" Tony sang as Ziva started to laugh softly.

"Well in the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say are you married we say no man
But you can do the job when you're in town
Later on we'll conspire as we dream by the fire
To face unafraid of the plans that we made
Walking in a winter wonderland" Tony sang as he once again spun Ziva out and pulled her in. But this time he also dipped her slightly. Causing Ziva to giggle as she came back up to met Tony's green eyes.

"In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend he's a circus clown
We have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman" Ziva sung wrapping her arms around Tony's neck

"Until the other kiddies knock him down
Oh when it snows ain't it filling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play the Eskimo way
Walking in a winter wonderland" Tony sung as he leant his face closer to Ziva's.

"Wonderland." Ziva whispered right before Tony's lips touched her own. The kiss was soft and passionate. Tony trailed his lips up Ziva's jaw to her ear. Whispering into her ear, "Wonderland."
