This is the translation of my work Johnlock - Si tu commençais. As my mother tongue is French and not English, please let me know if there is any mistake.

If you began… To talk to me. To tell me what your thoughts whisper to you in the silence of your words. I need only a breath of your voice to finally hear what you're hiding in the windings of your soul. You deduce from a pulse or a pupil a feeling that is far more than a physical reaction, so let me see through you what I am capable of deducing myself. The features of your statue's face deprived of emotion do not tell me more than your intense gaze does; even though, your face is a work of art to me and your eyes seem to be sounding out my being's deepest depths, leaving an everlasting trouble in my heart. I may be on my own facing a wall, alone, contemplating the emptiness, but I wait for it to brutally stop me, or to let me anchor myself in it rather than leave me immobile without knowing what to do. Even if your heart is a mystery, I would like, even just once – just once – to be able to deduce from its palpitations something from you. Unfortunately, I am not you, Sherlock.
