Note: This is a poem I made for my Math class about Valentine's Day/love. The assignment was that we had to write a poem regarding the topic but with added math words. The math words can be used in two different ways (for ex. the word 'parallel' in geometry means a shape where its opposite sides never intersect. But the word can also mean alike to someone/something/an interest, etc.) The person talking in this poem is actually Takuto. Takuto is referring to Meroko, and Meroko's feelings for Izumi.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN FULL MOON WO SAGASHITE OR ITS CHARACTERS.
As she walks down the train station,
She passes me, she looks so broken.
Without an umbrella, she hangs her head down.
She walks through the rain with no sound.
Is life all that bad?
Hide permanent scars underneath your sleeves.
Pray to God he never leaves (you).
Don't try to find that small ray
From the sky shining down as you lay,
Because this is a day to cry.
I'll never know why you like that guy.
You're so stupid to play the game of chase
When he probably doesn't even recognize your face.
In the end, your hearts are never parallel.
I would be happy if she would smile
Or laugh for a while.
She doesn't know who he is.
He doesn't know she exists.
You're painfully shy when it comes to this.
Little moments of him, you like to reminisce.
Well, don't remind yourself anything; it's not worth it.
Him loving you is never legit.
You know that, but you can't draw the line.
After rejection, you won't be able to find
Yourself, and the tears begin to fall.
Your hurt backs you against the wall,
But remember what I told you.
Never sell yourself off as untrue.
Swim through the ocean black,
Once you reach the surface, don't fall back.
There's someone who loves her.
Someone who loves her for sure.
She means the whole world to me.
When she passes me, she looks so sad.
It can't be all that bad.
She doesn't know that I understand.
She just needs to hold my hand
And trust me.
Shall I be the one to sheild you?
Will I be the one to hold you?
Can I be the one to say,
I love you, on Valentine's Day?
