A/N: A poem written in Rima's point of view to her parents. :3 Enjoy!
Mama, Papa
Hear my plea
Across the land
Sea by sea
Mama, Papa
See my pain
Soon all there will be left of me
Is sorrow and disdain
Mama, Papa
See me cry
Do you even see?
You aren't even going to try
Mama, Papa
Do you care?
You've given me a life
I cannot bear
Mama, Papa
Please, please, please!
Try for your only child!
I'm down on my knees!
Oh I see
You don't care, do you?
Too absorbed in your arguments to notice little old me
You couldn't get a clue
To hear my plea
You're too loud to hear anything else
To see my pain
While screaming, all you see is yourselves
You couldn't even try
What a shame
You two are both held responsible!
You both are to blame!
You two are parents
Learn to get along!
Do you not see me here?
Whoa! Your words are getting a bit too strong
Too loud to care
Oblivious to you guys' sound
The neighbors check on me, you know?
To counseling, you guys are definitely bound
Screaming and screaming
Make it STOP!
How would you feel in my position?
If we were to swap?
Doesn't feel too good, does it?
Having no parent to come to your aid
And because of the despair
Using a façade
Now you're interested?
Nope, you have to do more
You ruined eleven years of my life!
I am the one you can no longer ignore
We're off to a start…
