All my life I've had one friend. My sister Akemi. When she was murdered, I despaired, and grew reckless. And when I was scheduled for execution I felt I had nothing left to lose anymore. I didn't want to die but anything was better than giving the organization the satisfaction of killing me. I was prepared to die.

In my new body I was confused. As I stumbled and then ran away I could only think of the one person. One person who could possibly help. The one person who managed to elude the organization.
When I finally met you, you seemed so... content. That first time.. it was a test. For a great detective you were fooled easily. I was disappointed. You seemed to have only managed to elude the organization by blind luck. I was hoping to have someone my age to talk to. Someone smart. And I didn't think you were smart enough.
Then you solved the Locked Room Murder. You are smart. But if you are that smart, why couldn't you have saved my sister? The one friend I had in the world?
The cry helped. I can tell you knew those tears were real. Funny, I had expected you to be harder to read. It's refeshing. Everyone in the organization hid their true emotions. The other kids don't because they're kids. Ran and Agasa don't have to. You... just don't.
