The Scar that Battles Leave

The great Ninja war had finally come to an end and there Naruto stood, blood falling to the ground from many different wounds and forming a singular puddle. He could feel his life force drain away, but it didn't matter to him, a smile was on his face, "I protected my friends…" he reassured himself of all of the progress he had made in this single war. The many nations were now joined as one and he had also made sure that Neji's death was not wasted. Obito and Madara were gone, both killed and the Juubi had also been defeated.

He struggled to keep his head up and quickly dropped to his knees in the wasteland before him. His vision began to blur and he could see figures in the distance rushing towards him, calling out to him but he wasn't able to maintain consciousness and he fell to the ground before the voices narrowed in on his position.

"Naruto-kun!" yelled out the lavender eyes girl.

Behind the Hyuuga a pink haired Kunoichi also followed. They both bent down by the blonde's side and began to heal his wounds.

"I-is Naruto-kun going to be okay?" Questioned the Hyuuga as she attempted to heal the slash to Naruto's right arm.

Sakura's eyes were teary and her hands were shaking, she couldn't think straight, looking at Naruto like this, it hurt her.

"Sakura-chan! Snap out of it, if we don't focus on this right now he… Just… Do your job." Hinata yelled at the woman across from her.

The Hyuugas eyes drifted towards the boy's face, the other wounds were too serious for Hinata to heal. She just wasn't that advanced when it came to Medic Ninjutsu. Her hand moved towards his face and rested upon that same place that it had just after Neji had passed away and Obito was yelling at Naruto. She stroked his cheek with her thumb and she shifted to kiss his forehead before whispering in his ear.

"You will be okay, Naruto-kun, I believe in you"

"Okay! We need to get him back to the village, right now!" Sakura barked demands at the shinobi around her and Hinata accompanied Naruto off the battlefield and back towards the village.
