Blue, is sadness for you
What is blue?
Blue is a sad dreamlike state
When tears stream down your sad face
And you can't be in the rain.
Blue is trat raspberries
Blue is sweet blueberries
And the line on my paper
Blue is the shallow sea
Blue is the great sky.
Blue is bright on the American flag
Blue is dark like your jeans.
While the sound of blue is harsh sobs.
Its also the sound of beating Blue Jay wings.
Blue is a dark burse or stare
Blue is your sad dreamlike era…

I am Me
What's going to happen next?
I hear my characters voices, loud and clear
I see their faces, close up and far away
To be far away from here.
I am a Writer
Pretend to listen to the annoying voices around me
I feel the burn of fire and the chill of ice.
I touch sunlight, warm and soft on my finger tips
Worry about you
Cry with tiredness, late at night.
I am There
Understand me, when I can
I say goodbye, to what I don't want to know
I dream about there
Trying to write, when though time is never available
Hoping to get there, someday.
I am Me.
What is red
Red is blood
when there is pain.
Red is the cardinal
in the rain.
Red is the anger felt towards me,
Red anger in the eyes that cant see.
Red is the scar traversing her face.
Of the red cheeks that blushed there's no longer a trace.
Red is the stop sign that jumped out ahead.
That stop sign kept her in a hospital bed.
Red is the ragged line on the screen
that shows her heart beating, pumped by a machine.
Red are the tail lights that drive away
as I think back on that horrible day.
Red is blood
