Hotaru the Mermaid
How do I compare to thee,
The beauty of the mermaid so fair?
This deseription is beyond me,
A very daunting dare.
A birthmark upon her face,
In the shape of a star.
This is the base,
Of her beauty by far.
Sitting upon the Earth,
She looks at the oceans deep.
What does she think as she watches the birth,
Of a new day inward sweep.
Prehaps she waits upon this rock,
For fates hand to give in to her thoughts.
Whew. This is a poem about my OC Hotaru as a mermaid. I drew a pic of that when I got bored and was hit with an art bunny.
