Changes

Frodo was in pain. This was the first time he'd had this dream in months. Which one you ask? The one in which he watches everyone he knows die by the Nazgul's blades. Everyone he despises watching, and laughing, The Ring, sitting coldly on it's master's finger. Then, the last person, Sam. He couldn't bear to see this happen. He couldn't bear to see him, but the dream forced him to. Then, he came back into the light. "Frodo! Wake up!" Sam yelled. He was sweating, and screaming,'No, not Sam! Please no!' , and other things of the like. "It's okay Frodo, I'm right here." he said. "Oh, Sam," Frodo said, groggily,"I thought they were killing you..." He trailed off, and Sam saw in his eyes that there was something he wasn't telling him. "You're not telling me something" Sam said. "Sam! What would make you think that? I would never keep anything from you, and you know that." Frodo said. "I wonder what Merry and Pip are upto tonight" he said, a grin on his face. Sam laughed, "Yes they must be sleeping very well tonight." They both snickered. "Sam, can we leave to visit Bilbo for a while tomorrow?" Frodo said. "Of course! I've been wanting to see him for a while myself." Sam said. "We leave tomorrow!"

5 days later, in the forest Frodo starts singing, "Still round the corner there may wait a brand new road or a secret gate; and though I oft may pass them by, a day will come at last when I Shall take the hidden paths that run West of the Moon, East of the Sun."

Then, another voice rang out of the woods, "A! Elbereth Gilthonel! silivren penna mirel o menel aglar elenath, Gilthonel, A! Elbereth! We still remember, we who dwell in this far land beneath the trees the starlight on the Western Seas."

And then, over the hill, there came a good sized party of elves, and: "Mr. Bilbo!" "Hullo, Sam and Frodo! It has not been long has it?" Then, he whispered to Frodo,"Does he know yet?" "No," Frodo whispered back. "Well," Bilbo whispered, "That's just going to make the parting all the more painful." "I know." he whispered.

An hour later, they arrived. "Frodo, this isn't Rivendell! It's the Grey Havens!" Sam said, but he couldn't hide his awe. "I know, Sam," Frodo said," and there's something I haven't told you." "I knew it!" Sam yelled, "Sorry, carry on." he said quickly, after everyone started staring at them. "I'm leaving, too." Frodo said, and Sam's heart broke. "You can't!" Sam said. "I have to, Sam, there is no other way." He said."Don't say that, Frodo, there is always another way, and if there isn't, I'm coming with you." "You still have your entire life infront of you, without me." "I'm not letting you go until I hear with my own ears that there's no other way." "Fine, keep someone here with a boat incase I come back, and I will be off with Sam for a cure." "Farewell," Galadriel said, "May the light of Earendil shine on your search." "Farewell Bilbo, Elrond, and Galadriel." Sam said. And then, Gandalf appeared, "Farewell from me aswell." "Goodbye Gandalf as well!" Sam added. "Farewell Merry Folk!" And then, the long search commenced.
