AN: Written for the Peter/WHO challenge on HPFC. Peter needs some love too!
He's cute.
She couldn't believe that she hadn't noticed him all of those years in Hogwarts. But, after all, she was a Ravenclaw. There was no reason for Dorcas to notice a pudgy, nervous boy four years younger than her.
Besides, he was a Gryffindor.
And she really didn't care for those risk-taking, chivalrous kids who didn't know the meaning of planning.
But Peter seemed different. He seemed more interesting, more reserved (but then again, two of his best friends were some of the most outgoing kids Dorcas had ever met). He didn't wear his heart on his sleeve or reveal his emotions as quickly as they came.
But he said he didn't want to be anything more than friends. Sometimes he said that he only wanted to be acquaintances. And occasionally, he didn't even acknowledge her.
But Dorcas wanted to figure him out, to put his puzzle together.
But she didn't have enough time for that.
He was there on her deathbed, holding her hand for the first time.
I wish I could have saved you.
It was whispered, the last thing Dorcas ever heard.
A mystery.
But there's nothing a Ravenclaw loves more than a mystery.
Reviews are love! Also, yes, Peter was already working for Voldemort at the time of this fic.
