Gravity (inspired by a Song)

Gray glanced down at the girl next to him. Her blue hair spread out like angel wings, faint smell of flowers drifted to his nose. He shifted just a bit, making sure she was comfortable. He sighed, wrapping his arms around her waist. The girl whispered something and moved closer. He smiled, thinking about how it felt, when she almost left him, leaving him empty, wondering over how it would be, if she left him like that. Fingering a strand of hair, the memory played like a movie…

Walking over, like usual, she sat down on her table, looking out of the window. Eyes, like the ocean, endlessly blue, sparkling with joy. He knew that he walked over and tried to talk, she'll totally take it the wrong way. She was after all, a fan. He just watched from afar all the time. Then, she turned over and met his gaze. Smiling, she gave him a silent hello. And that made his heart swoon easily. He took a swig of his beer and looked away, ashamed that he didn't he spare her a look. The gilr, disappointed at the failed attemp, looked away and started talking to someone else. He felt so embarrased, thinking that she could've hate him now.

The day was cloudy, but he knew that she wouldn't cause it. He sighed contently and kept walking. Then he saw her, sitting on a bench, gazing out at the river, whispering soft things to herself. He stopped and started to head towards her. She didn't see him. Then she stood up and walked closer to the river. A gate held them apart. She looked down and he saw a tear, same exact time a rain drop fell on him. She then held her breatheand pulled her self over.

A sudden movement stopped his train of thoughts. His girlfriend of 2 years, opened one ocean blue eye and looked up at him. "Morning," she smiled. As she leaned in, he allowed himself to fall into her.

As they kissed, he held her tightly. If this was how they were going to be for the rest of their lives…then he didn't regret one thing.

"I love you…Juvia."
