Author's note: I don't see enough of this pairing. I find the two of them make a cute couple, and like normal, I am suddenly in the mood to write fanfiction at obscene hours of the night.

Warnings: Terribly written fluff, boyxboy relationships of the innocent and adorable kind, a severe lack of dialogue, and a scraped knee.

Disclaimer: I don't own Golden Sun, the village of Vale, Isaac, or Felix.

A ten-year-old Isaac was walking alongside the river, every once and a while turning towards the rushing body of water to stop and lightly giggle at how funny the water looked running through his reflection. The sun's reflection glared at him from across the water. He held a hand above his eyes to shield himself from the sun as he continued his trek.

It was right around the curve of the river where he slipped on a wet rock and scraped his knee. Little tears welled up in his eyes and he sniffled as he sat there, clutching his leg just below the injury. Though tears rolled down his cheeks and the pain in his knee grew worse, he made no noise, which would shock some, but Isaac was so shy about talking around others, he rarely ever spoke.

It was at that time that an eleven-year-old Felix had just left his house and was taking a stroll by the river himself when he noticed the little blonde down the river. He rushed over to his friend as quickly as he could, crouching down by the other boy as he arrived. Felix stood back up and offered Isaac a hand, which the injured boy gladly accepted as Felix pulled him up. Isaac stumbled a little and Felix caught him, which caused the blonde to blush. He looked at Felix who blushed himself and quickly gave Isaac a small peck on the lips. Isaac's blush intensified.

Isaac hugged Felix and gave the older boy a peck on the lips himself. If it was possible, Isaac's blush was even more intense, and his eyes were squeezed shut due to embarrassment. Felix smiled and hugged the younger boy back. They quit hugging and Felix took Isaac's hand and they walked side-by-side along the river, backs facing a setting sun.
