A young girl was sitting on the ground in the Rusty Ruins. Her hoverboard is beside her, and she's eating a pack of PadThai. Soon, she knew her friend would come.
By dawn, she saw an outline of a person, coming towards her; however, when it landed, it wasn't who she expected.
"How many times have I told you not to come out here! I should never have shown you this place!" cried Tally Youngblood, the girl's mother.
"I'm sorry mom. I… I just wanted to…" she couldn't finish her sentence.
"You wanted to what?" asked Tally.
"To see Quin-la!" she said.
Tally let out an exasperated sigh. "Why don't you tell me before you leave! Shay-la has been worried about Quin, you know. You two should tell us these things," said Tally.
"I'm sorry. We just thought that, well, if we told you, you wouldn't let us come," said Tally's daughter.
"Aly, you don't need to worry about that if you're going to see your friend. Now, I'll call Shay-la, and you wait for Quin," said Tally.
"Quin-la," said Aly stubbornly.
"Okay, Aly-wa," said Tally with a joking voice.
Aly looked a lot like her mother. Her hair was the same colour as her father's though. Aly had the beauty of a New Pretty, because her mother, Tally, was a Special, and her father was normal.
"Aly-wa?" called a girl from the sky.
"Quin-la!" called Aly.
"Aly ran to were her friend landed. Quin was Shay's daughter, and Aly's best friend.
"I thought that your mom wasn't coming," said Quin when she saw Tally.
"She caught me. She called your mom too," said Aly.
"Don't forget Fausto," said Tally.
Quin and Aly groaned. Tally hadn't just called Shay, but Fausto too!
"Your mom and dad worry about you," said Tally to Quin.
"Don't tell me that you never ran off when you were a kid.
"That's true," said Tally.
A moment later, Fausto, Shay, and David arrived, and it was a huge family reunion.
