Hi Guys! This is my first story, so I hope you like it. My brother got me into the Legend of Zelda series and I thought I might try to write a fanfic about it. Please review! All comments are welcome.
Also, Link and Zelda are dating in this story. Takes place after Skyward Sword.

"AUGH!"
A shrill scream pierced Skyloft's peaceful atmosphere.
Ganandorf had been defeated by Link and everything was settling down. The atmosphere of terror and fear that had once stifled Skyloft's air had been broken. Everything was once again peaceful.
Or, at least it was. Until the screaming started.
Groose's already spiked hair stood up even further.
'What was that?' He thought.
"AUGH!"
A second scream, even louder than before, cut through the air.
That got Groose moving.
He sprinted towards the noise, gaining speed as he skidded around corners and barreled down the cobble-stoned streets.
Arching his eyes in confusion, he found himself approaching the Knight's Academy. A third scream came, bringing him back to the present. Not stopping, he flung the doors open and entered the Academy. The air was thick with tension as Groose sped down the hallway.
A third scream, louder than ever had grown louder; Groose was on the right path. He skidded to a stop. The terrible noise was coming from… Link's room?
Wide-eyed, Groose flung the door open, settling into a defensive position, ready to fight whatever horrible beast was attacking the Goddess' Chosen One.
"Link! I am perfectly able to take care of myself."
Blinking in surprise, a monster wasn't attacking the hero. Instead Princess Zelda stood with perfect posture, her hands clenched into fists at her sides. Her normally beautiful face was contorted with fury. Her boyfriend was sitting on the floor, grimacing in pain as he held his right foot in one hand.
"I wasn't saying you couldn't take care of yourself, I just meant that…"
Zelda cut him off. "What? You meant that I just need your constant protection so I don't get kidnapped? Well guess what? I can take care of myself." She whirled around, pushing past a stunned Groose and storming out into the Academy.
"What happened?" Groose asked. It wasn't every day Skyloft's famous couple had an argument.
"I was saying that she should be more careful. I just got her back, and I can't loose her. Unfortunately she took that the wrong way. She said that she was just fine and perfectly able to take care of herself." Link replied, still holding his foot to his chest.
"And, um… what's with your foot?" Groose questioned, quirking his eyebrows.
"She decided that berating me wasn't enough. But damn, her high heels hurt!"
Link, wincing as he stood up, walked towards the door.
"I better go apologize. Let's hope I don't get stamped on again." His shoulder's slumping, Link limped out of his room.
Never anger a woman wearing high heels, Groose thought. They really are the greatest weapon.
