Death of a Dream
The place where angels and demons go
The river there has ceased to flow
The portal there has cracked apart
The gods awaken with a start
The death of one has wracked the land
The castles there crumbled to sand
The creatures there have turned to dust
The messengers go where they must
The birds speak softly of the tale
And old Queen Mab begins to wail
A million dreamers in their beds
The wail of Despair turns their heads
The message that the sparrows bring
"The king is dead. Long live the king."
