Giggling the two mentally shushed the other. They were both armed with make-up and ready to play a prank on Sano.
Kaoru had stolen his spare key the other day, and now all they had to do was get in there and get back at him.
Little did they know that Sano had recently gotten a roommate. Even if they did know, they weren't expecting such a pretty one.
He had known there were intruders the moment the lock on the door to their dorm had unlocked.
Opening his eyes to narrow slits to look as if he were asleep, he saw two girls, relatively short, with long hair walk into the rooms with decidedly mischievous expressions.
He had seen the two in Sano's pictures, which they had probably put up.
Probably his best friends.
They just didn't know him.
Sano slept like a rock. He was on his back and snoring with an open mouth, half his body off the bed.
It wasn't until Misao pointed him out that she noticed there was a roommate.
They both watched him until they decided he was still asleep; one, he was wearing nothing but boxers, which they assumed were his pajamas, one they were all too familiar with (they had seen him too many times). Two, his eyes were shut. Of course, that could be a ruse, but they doubted it. You can't have such even breathing unless you were asleep.
Collectively staring at his chest, which was hot, she hadn't noticed anything other than his red hair until Misao whispered loudly.
"He's so pretty, Kao-Chan, look at his face."
She looked at the part in question, and noticed that he was, indeed, pretty. In fact, he could pass for a girl if it weren't for cross-shaped scar on his cheek. It made her wonder where he got it from.
Hushing Misao with a finger to her lips, she motioned that they continue on with their plan and pointed to Sano.
Their giggling started up again.
When were they going to leave?
They were doing something to Sano, he knew that.
If they aren't leaving, he might as well sleep.
"I have brilliant beyond brilliant idea!"
Kaoru looked at her skeptically.
"We should do this to his new roommate!!!"
The devilish gleam came back into her eyes, and wiped out the tiredness that had replaced it.
They both went to his bed and proceeded to do the same thing, making him look like even more so like a girl.
Kenshin awoke to a flash and loud, guffawing laughter.
Opening his eyes, he saw Sano holding a camera, the two girls in the back, trying to hold in laughter.
He could only imagine what he looked like.
Then, getting a good look at Sano, he stole the camera and got a picture of him.
Smirking, he attempted to delete his picture.
Before he could, a small figure had launched herself at him and toppled him, stealing the camera.
The taller girl was staring down at him, a sparkle in her blue eyes.
"You can't delete it, we need blackmail!"
Looking up to see Sano staring at him, he started laughing.
"What?" he stupidly asked.
Smirking, he pointed to the mirror.
"So, how did you ladies get a hold of the spare key?"
Exchanging twin glances of surprise, they both asked at the same time
"What makes you think we did it?"
He gave them a knowing glance and caught sight of himself in the small pocket mirror the blue eyed girl had been checking.
He looked like a girl.
I'm disappointed with this. Yes, it's funny, but the ending was really stretched out and horrible.
I remember when my entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins) on my dad's side were all sleeping over. A gaggle of girls including me had snuck into the guys rooms and decorated them.
