Kakeru twined his fingers through Yuki's soft, grey tresses.
It was wrong he knew to do this and enjoy doing so since neither of them were single.
Kakeru finally closed the distance, and they kissed almost as if the time had stopped everywhere except where they were with just them.
They were supposed to only be friends and surely someone would find out and their lives may crumble from every secret touch and forbidden kiss yet they dared not think of that now.
Kakeru held Yuki closer as if desperately holding his girlfriend, his princess, close when Yuki is actually a teenage boy of his age and wasn't even dating Kakeru.
He could pretend for these brief moments however that Yuki was his boyfriend and his alone.
Yuki also didn't seem to mind the boundaries that he was crossing with the other boy to Kakeru's knowledge as Yuki was caught up in this lie and their version of playing pretend.
With Kakeru, Yuki would never have had to worry about transforming though that eventually became a moot point later on despite everything before then.
Yuki seemed to melt in to the kiss as if surrenduring to the other boy's dominance and for a moment, they were just two people with out the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life and lacking anything that could keep them apart from each other.
They were together for once and for the moment in what felt like forever that was really just a moment regardless of how eternal it felt, they were together.
it must have been wrong for them to cherish these moments as there had to be a way that they could break up with their girlfriends to be together yet no action was done to that effect yet they continued to cherish every forbidden touch.
I love you was a mystery that they could obtain and figure out if they chose to pursue this feeling later on; for now, their lie seemed to become their passion though lies were discovered, found out, and banished by the truth yet for now, they held on to their lies.
Playing pretend did not end by filling up hearts with warmth and love in this situation though he never did or almost never did do so in any situation.
It festered, burned, and hurt to only begin again.
May be a part of them knew that and would strengthen to face the truth though for now fears and lies dominated that could forcibly remove many from their lives like a domino effect that could even decimate and destroy the couple built on lies.
