I look at the night sky
And I dream that you are by my side
When I gaze into your eyes
I get lost in a peaceful place I've never been before
So I stay there
And wonder
Do you feel the same way I feel?
Do you wish to be by my side?
Do you wish to be with me forever?
And when I die would you want to cry?
So I stay here in the peaceful place I never been
And I think of sin
That I might want to do with you
But I think of the consequences
I want you to be happy
And I want you to be free
But I also want you to be here sitting next to me
So gaze at the moon
And I see you in it happy and free
So I look at you for just a minute
Then I get up and leave.
