I saw it again today.

It ran the same way it usually does. They were fighting about something,
who knows what this time. Who even cares?

Another pointless, petty argument no doubt.

So there they were, shouting and yelling like there was no tomorrow
when their eyes caught.

Just one little glance and suddenly everything was so quiet
you could have heard a pin drop.

They stood there for a few good seconds staring
into each other's eyeballs when he broke off.

I could have done the next part for him; it's getting so familiar.
The little shake of the head, the slight clearing of the throat.

She predictably followed suit, quickly going off to
shuffle papers or otherwise make herself busy.

This had been going on for weeks now.

The careful avoidance of showing their true feelings.

I don't know why they even bothered; it was dead obvious
to everyone around them.

You could almost see the fantasies going on in their heads.

Sometimes they "accidentally" got so close their lips almost touched.

But they always pulled away.

Because god forbid anything should happen.

That they should take the next step.

I've been watching all this time.

They never got any further than the looks.

The fire between them smoldering but never
allowed to let burn.

But something different happened today.

I got bored.

Angelus glanced at Wesley's body lying cold and pale on the ground
and at Cordelia sobbing next to it.
The rain poured down fiercely on top of them.

Then, with a slight satisfied smirk, he
turned down the alley and walked away.

Note: I don't know why the alley. It's not really Angelus' style, I know.
Anyway, please review! I'll love ya forever..
