So here's a one-shot of mine read it pretty please? I'll give you a cyberhug.. (:

"I'm home!" I called as I stepped through the thresh-hold.

"Out back!" I heard Fang's voice echo through our homey flat. I quickly replaced my work shoes with a pair of flip flops, grabbed a drink for the two of us and walked out to our back porch. I found Fang sitting in a lounge chair a black T-shirt was stretched over his muscular torso and a pair of shorts- black of course clothed his bottom half. He looked relaxed and deep in thought as he stared at the sunset.

"Hi." I smiled warmly at him and handed him a cold glass of lemonade.

"You're home early," his eyes slid from the sunset to me. He smiled a small Fang smile, consisting of just a small turn of his lips. He took the drink from me and sipped it.

"Paige said she'd close up for me."

He nodded and set his drink down on the wood panels beneath us, then pulled me into his lap.

"Woah, there," I chuckled as the lemonade in my glass swished around very close to spilling on me.

"I missed you a lot Max." He whispered in my ear and I shivered.

I laughed airily, "It was only a few hours Fang. Is someone getting needy?"

He ignored my teasing by nuzzling my neck and moaning my name.

"Can I at least finish my drink before you smother me with your neediness?"

He laughed softly, "If I'm needy then what does that make you?"

I smiled and looked straight ahead into the beautiful sunset. It was a glorious mixture of warm, passionate colors. Different hues of red and orange and pink, and yellow streaked across the sky in the familiar dance of dusk. I slapped a mosquito off of my arm and sighed, "Hopelessly in love I guess."

I felt him smile behind me and then heard his amused voice fill my ears, "You still blush whenever you see the sunset."

"Now do I? I wonder why..."

"Let me refresh your memory."

Fang continued to tell me the story. I closed my eyes and leaned back into his chest remembering why the sunset always made my cheeks burn and my stomach flip.

"You were sitting a ways away from the flock just staring at the sunset intently and I asked you, 'Max, what're you thinking about?' and you said, 'Oh nothing,' but it was all rushed and nervous like. I knew it had to be something embarrassing and I couldn't let a prime time to tease you simply slip away so I said, 'I bet I know why you're blushing like a maniac.' You looked all huffy puffy and indignant just how I wanted you to be 'cause I thought it was cute. So do you remember what you told me?"

I chuckled as I recalled, "I told you to screw off. And you got this little sad puppy dog look on your face, which I thought was amusing and rare since you where Fang The Impassive."

"So then I got Angel to tell me what you were thinking and she told me that you Max, were thinking about kissing me. And gosh, I wanted to kiss you real bad. So I told you, 'You're obviously imagining how great a kisser I am.' And you blushed super hard, your eyes all wide and I took that moment to kiss you for the first time ever."

I adjusted myself so that I was straddling him I noticed briefly how amazing he smelt before I said, "Well that was one of our best kisses. I bet you can't change that."

His eyebrows went up, "Oh yeah? Is that- a challenge? You know I can never refuse one Maxie."

With that I let his lips slip over mine, and the sparks take over.
